Yellowknife Community Foundation

Supporting our Northern Communities

The Yellowknife Community Foundation makes grants in two ways:

  • When donors use their funds independently to make grants.
  • Through the Foundation’s general fund, otherwise known as our Community Impact Fund.

Application process

Please see our 2024 key dates for the majority of our grant applications and our 2023 grant map for details on our grant application process (the 2024 grant map will be updated by March 2024). Information and details on each of our granting funds are available on their individual pages.
