In Memory of Doug Bothamley

The Yellowknife Community Foundation extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Doug Bothamley who passed away on July 6, 2015.

Doug resided in Yellowknife from 1972 to 2003 and retired following 30 years of service with the GNWT, FMBS Division. Doug was well known to many people throughout the North and was an admired coach, fast ball player and curler. He will be sincerely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Yellowknife Golf Club.

The Doug Bothamley Memorial Fund has been established with the Yellowknife Community Foundation to help remember Doug’s contribution to our community.
