2015 Calendar and 2013-2014 Annual Report

The Yellowknife Community Foundation is very pleased to announce the release of its 2015 Calendar and 2013-2014 Annual Report. The 7th edition of the Foundation’s popular publication was recently featured in “Calendar shows City spirit” (NNSL Dana Bowen).

“We are particularly proud of this project”, said Foundation President Charles Dent. “Our annual calendar and report features Yellowknife photos by Yellowknife photographers. It demonstrates the Foundation’s support for local artists and is an excellent way of letting the community know about the Foundation’s activities”. Copies of the calendar have been mailed out to all Foundation donors, sponsors and scholarship recipients. A copy can be downloaded here.

In existence since 1993, the Yellowknife Community Foundation is the leading philanthropic organization in Yellowknife. A registered charity, the Foundation was formed in 1993 to provide residents (and former residents) with a means of supporting projects in our community for the enduring future. The Foundation is not singularly dedicated to any specific area of support. It embodies a simple concept – that people working together can make a difference. Donations are placed in a capital fund. The money, invested over time, will grow and will continue to have an impact long after the original gift is made. Donations to the Foundation are eligible deductions for income tax purposes.
