Yellowknife Community Foundation and RBC Foundation to Present Inspiring Local Youth Leader Grants

YELLOWKNIFE (December 2, 2019) – TheYellowknife Community Foundation and RBC Foundation are announcing the recipientsof two grants totalling $35,000 to support youth-led projects in the NorthwestTerritories. The official announcement will be made at a grant ceremony at 3:00p.m. on December 5, 2019 at the Royal Bank Branch in Yellowknife. Grantrecipients are: As a part ofthe RBC Future Launch Community Challenge, grants like these are being made toinspire youth-led projects in 150 small and medium-sized communities acrossCanada. The program’s goal is to helpshift the power to young leaders making positive social or environmental changein their communities, while enabling them to gain valuable skills andexperience.
