Mary Beth Miller was born August 24, 1976, and moved to Yellowknife with her family when she was six years old. A talented biathlete, skier and speed skater, Mary Beth was a wonderful role model for youth. She displayed enthusiasm, exuberance, friendliness, spirit, determination, love and respect for family, encouragement of others and giving back to the community. Mary Beth is recognized at the Yellowknife Ski Club with the biathlon range named in her honour.

Activities:

Conducting training or sports leadership opportunities in outdoor recreation (cross-country skiing, biathlon, mountain biking, speed skating, canoeing, or kayaking)
