Let’s Sing Together

Today, the Alzheimer Society Alberta and Northwest Territories received a grant from the Albert Hall Seniors Enhancement Fund to support their “Let’s Sing Together” program.

In partnership with the Avens: A Community for Seniors, a weekly singing program is being offered to people living with dementia and their care partner still in community plus residents living with dementia from Dementia Centre and care partner, as well as seniors in care at Aven and seniors in the community who love to sing. Meeting weekly in a fun and relaxed setting helps to reduce social isolation for the person living with dementia and their care partner.
