Establishment of the Resilient Communities Fund
The Yellowknife Community Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Resilient Communities Fund designed to help Yellowknife rebuild as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Together, we are strong.
With nearly 50 years of collective experience supporting the people of the North, the Yellowknife Community Foundation (founded in 1993) and the United Way NWT (founded in 2001) are joining forces to raise funds for the immediate requirements of community groups supporting those left vulnerable by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Yellowknife Community Foundation doubles the number of scholarships awarded in 2020
The Yellowknife Community Foundation announced today that in recognition of how challenging this summer will be for students, it is doubling the number of scholarships being awarded in 2020.

For all of us at the Yellowknife Community Foundation, protecting the health and safety or our people and those we work with will always be our overriding priority. As such, our office will be temporary closed to foot traffic. This will not impact our call for grant and scholarship applications.
