Jenny Gamble-Fournier Memorial Fund

Established in memory of Jenny Gamble- Fournier.

Prerequisites

The Jenny Gamble-Fournier Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to assist a grade twelve graduate of École Sir John Franklin student who intends to pursue post-secondary studies related to: Communications, Writing/Journalism, Art/Art History, Languages, Media Studies.

Review 

Factors taken into consideration in reviewing grant applications include the qualities of: Creativity, Independence of mind, Honesty, Open-mindedness, Participation in school activities, Inclusive outgoing personality, Interest in art, interest in travel, Sense of humour.

Applications

Applications must include an essay of up to 500 words describing how you have met the criteria for the scholarship, your school and community involvement, (volunteer work, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills etc.) and your future goals.

Include with your application the following documents:

  • Proof of acceptance into an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • One letter of reference is required.
  • A Proof of Residency form must be submitted along with the application.
